This is a basic walkthrough of a single Data Node Cisco Nexus Dashboard (CND) with Cisco Nexus Fabric Controller (NDFC) installation. There are multiple installation choices, but this is the most basic type of installation if you’re looking for a ‘typical Cisco Fabric Manager’ type of installation.

App vs Data Config – NDFC SAN Insights requires Data
(When designing CND/NDFC/SAN Insights, the switches push the SAN Insights data to the appliance, and the SAN Insights IPs are on the Data Network. Two subnets are required, so if you have a flat non routable network, make sure to put the Data Network on the same subnet as the switches)
Need to give it an IP, a Gateway, and 3TB of space
Go to https://IPaddress and continue setup, if this isn’t connecting via a proxy server you need to highlight the information circle and click Skip.
Click on the pencil next to the nodes to add the additional details, as well as if you want to deploy a 3 node cluster you can add the other nodes here after they’ve been deployed.
